The GES Digital Literacy Virtual Workshop was held for the Special Education Coordinators of the Ghana Education Service in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.

 

Conducted by Blue Sea Consulting of Takoradi, Ghana, the workshop took participants through the basics of digital literacy focusing on available online resources, accessing and participating in Zoom meetings, and solutions to some of the primary challenges to such participation within the Ghanaian context.

This timely training was requested by the Ghana Education Service Special Education Division (GES SpED). Feedback from the participants after the training was highly positive, and CHIP International, together with GES SpED, plan on making this an ongoing workshop in order to provide attending personnel with the digital knowledge critical for these times.
